Research Summary

Dr. Gao’s research focus on the green chemistry and organo-synthetic methodology oriented both by diversity and by construction of natural product-like libraries and discovery of drug lead compounds, in detail:

Green organic-synthesis;

Novel tandem-annulation or cycloaddition reactions involved arynes chemistry aiming to construct complicated cyclic-skeleton compounds; Discovery and synthesis of drug lead compounds and synthesis of natural product-like compounds and pharmaceutically active molecules based on theorgano-synthetic methodology that we develope.
